Many business associations provide opportunities to build interpersonal skills, make lasting friendships, apply the knowledge learned in your studies, and have fun. Participation in the extracurricular activities of these business groups can provide worthwhile experiences that can be used during your job search and in your career.

The UNO Business Alumni Council is an active group, providing graduates a way to stay in touch with fellow graduates and support the continued development of the College.

The UNO Business Series is an annual seminar series exploring issues that concern businesses in New Orleans, as well as surrounding areas of South Louisiana. Additionally, events from business student organizations and the community may be listed on our calendar. Take advantage of these events whenever possible.

In the Business Building, UNO students have access to computer, statistics, finance, and accounting tutoring labs. In addition, a computer teaching facility and a computer lab with state-of-the-art equipment is available. Interested students can also enjoy a magnificent food service lab in the Hotel, Restaurant, and Tourism Administration facility.
