Important Dates | Eligibility | FAQs | Contact Eligibility Although Internship requirements vary across majors, general requirements for all students include: Undergraduate Students must have attained junior status (earned 60 hours) prior to beginning an internship.
Graduate students are required to have earned 12 hours of graduate level coursework (6000 level) and a minimum 3.0 overall GPA. Courses offered: ACCT 3090, ECON 6294, FIN 6394, HRT 6204, MANG 6494, and MKT 6594.
Internships must be approved by the faculty member who is responsible for overseeing the student through the internship period. In most instances, approval should be granted the semester prior to the internship.
Grade Point Average requirements are a minimum of 2.0 with the exception of Accounting and Finance. Accounting majors are required to have a minimum overall 2.5 GPA and 2.2 GPA in Accounting course; Finance majors are required to have a minimum overall 2.5 GPA and 2.5 GPA in Finance courses.
