LIFE
OPPORTUNITIES INTERNSHIP PROGRAM
Linking Internships To Future Employment Opportunities
What is a College of Business Administration LIFE Opportunities
Internship?
An internship is a credit course which provides practical
supervised training to upperclassmen undergraduate and graduate
students. The intern is directed in projects relating to their
major and is required to work at least 10-15 hours per week
in the Fall and Spring semesters and 18-20 hours per week
in the Summer. In most instances interns are compensated.
The
Value of a LIFE Opportunities Internship
As
a LIFE Opportunities partner, the organization has the unique
opportunity to work with students that have gained knowledge
of academic theory in their major (ACCT, ENTRE, FIN, HRT,
MANG, MKT). Students are eager to implement the theory learned
in classes to projects that provide meaning work experience
under the direction of an internship partner.
