Even though I already held two undergraduate
degrees from LSU and have significant work experience in
healthcare and insurance, this program exposed me to the
business of healthcare delivery in a setting that allowed
me to learn, not just from our professors (who were all
top shelf), but from the experiences of my classmates. The
opportunity to interact with clinicians, in a neutral setting,
gave me a better understanding of the issues most important
to them, and I am certain they too now have a better perspective
on the business and financing of healthcare.
