Dr.
Krishnaswami currently teaches courses in corporate finance
and valuation to the undergraduate, MBA, and Ph.D. students
in the College of Business Administration. She has also
taught courses in Investments and Financial Markets at
the Lowry Mays Graduate School of Business, Texas A&M
University, where she won the McDonald's Award for Teaching
Excellence in 1995. Her research interests are primarily
in the areas of corporate restructuring, financing choices,
and corporate governance. In her current research, she
analyzes the asymmetry in information between a firm's
managers, and shareholders to determine the optimal mode
of restructuring, and the cost-effective means of financing
the firm's operation. In this context, her work has been
cited in the Investors Business Daily. Office:
