Ryan formed the Business Alumni Council in 1995. The Council's mission is to support the continued development of the College of Business Administration at the University of New Orleans. The Alumni who comprise the Council promote the College among the local, national and international communities. The UNO Business Alumni Council members' mission includes promoting the College, facilitating communication between alumni and the College, providing support for special activities, assisting the Dean in implementing the strategic plan of the College and bringing the College and its alumni closer together. Since 1995 the Council has: Sponsored and Organized 12 Seminars exploring issues important to the Metropolitan New Orleans Business Community More than 5,400 Attendees Participated 10,000 Hours of Continuing Education Credit Issued Raised more than $180,000 for the College of Business Brought in 65 Businesses and Associations as Partners to the College Sponsored Annual Alumni Social Events to Strengthen Relationships between the College, Alums and Other Friends Closely Aligned with the Development and Promotion of the New College of Business Building (Opening in 2004) Networked with Executive Degree Candidates to Provide Support to Recent AACSB Accreditation for the College with Special Recognition Given to Alumni Relationships Developed and Promoted a Reliable Source of Sound Business & Economic Information Promoted the College through In-Kind Publicity Valued at $125,000 a year. Some of the meetings are held over lunch downtown while others are held at the UNO Lakefront Campus in the late afternoon. We need your help and support to continue the development of the UNO College of Business.
