Technology Center

Background

The UNO BellSouth Technology Center was created with a generous donation from BellSouth to the University of New Orleans, College of Business Administration, and has been established in new facilities at Kirschman Hall on the University of New Orleans campus. The Center houses state-of-the-art collaborative and visualization technology, providing a vehicle for faculty to test and apply new ways of multi-stakeholder decision making.

The Center provides a state of the art facility that faculty can use to test, expand, and apply their research. As researchers conduct fundamental research on business and group decision making processes, the Center facilitates funded research and provides a baseline facility to make researchers more competitive.
The Center also expands researchers' opportunities by facilitating cross-disciplinary projects.

…and, in conjunction with business and community, the Center applies fundamental research to helping solve some of the real problems of the greater New Orleans region.
