Background:

Joined UNO faculty in 1984. Served on faculty of University of Nebraska for 12 years. Member, American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, Society of Louisiana CPAs, American Accounting Association, Academy of Accounting Historians, Institute of Management Accountants, and the Institute of Internal Auditors. Named “favorite professor” by UNO alumni (1998). Received the Lifetime Achievement in Accounting Education Award presented jointly by the Society of Louisiana CPAs and the AICPA in 2002. Publications have appeared in The Journal of Accountancy, The CPA Journal, The Accounting Review, Auditing: A Journal of Practice and Theory, Financial Executive, The Internal Auditor, The Louisiana CPA, The Nebraska CPA Magazine, The Michigan CPA,Journal of Accounting, Ethics, and Public Policy, Nonprofit World and The Journal of Accounting Education.
