Joined UNO faculty in 1977. Served on faculties of Wayne State University (1974-77) and University of Texas at Arlington (1972-74). Areas of specialization include not-for-profit and managerial accounting. Received manuscript awards from Oakland County Chapter of National Association of Accountants (1975 and 1976) and Faculty Merit Award from Wayne State University (1976). Received UNO "Favorite Professor" Award (1998) and UNO Professor of the Year, EMBA Class 2 (1998) Award. Director, UNO CPA Review Program (1977-81); instructor, Becker CPA Review Program (1981-83) and Conviser Miller CPA Review Program (1987-present). Research Director, New Orleans Chapter of the Association of Governmental Accountants (1980-87). Member, Governmental Accounting and Auditing Committee of the New Orleans Chapter of the LCPA; Audit Advisory Committee of the Orleans Parish School Board (1984-86). Budget Reviewer, Government Finance Officers Association. Publications have appeared in The Accounting Review, The Accounting Historian, The Journal of Accountancy, Management Accounting, The Journal of Applied Psychology, Governmental Accountants Journal, Louisiana Business Survey, and other journals. Co- author of textbooks on governmental and not-for-profit accounting.
