Background:

Member of UNO faculty from 1967 to 2004.  Chairman, Department of Accounting at UNO (1986 - 1990). Assistant Dean, College of Business (1976 -1978). Graduate Programs Coordinator since 1991. Awards include: UNO College of Business Outstanding Alumnus Award (1983); UNO College of Business of Business Administration Professor of the Year (1977);  LCPA Outstanding Educators Award (1988) and Special Recognition Awards (2000 and 2004); UNO Alumni Association Excellent in Teaching Award (1993) Beta Gamma Sigma Outstanding Faculty Member in Business (1993). Publications include co-authored articles in the Government Accountants Journal and a co-author of a textbook on governmental and not-for-profit accounting now in its 5th edition and several chapters in governmental accounting handbooks.
