Accounting and Technology Conference
The
department co-sponsors the annual UNO Energy Accounting and
Technology Conference, (formerly the Oil and Gas Accounting
Conference), with the Petroleum Accountants Society of New
Orleans and the New Orleans Chapter of the Society of Louisiana
Certified Public Accountants.
The conference has featured nationally known speakers such
as U.S. Senator J. Bennett Johnston of Louisiana, U.S. Representative
Clarence Brown of Ohio, James R. Moffett, Chairman of the
Board of Freeport-McMoRan, Inc., U.S. Representative Billy
Tauzin, R. Thomas Fetters, President of CNG Producing Company,
James L. Dunlap, President, Texaco U.S.A., and H. Leighton
Steward, President and CEO of The Louisiana Land and Exploration
Company.

UNO Energy Accounting & Technology Conference

The
University of New Orleans is back and open for business
and so is the UNO Energy Accounting and Technology Conference.
The 2006 Conference was delayed from the usual spring date,
but we are having it this fall. It will once again be held
at the UNO Lindy C. Boggs International Conference Center,
located in the UNO Research and Technology Park, just north
of the UNO main campus.
EARN
UP TO 10 CPE CREDITS for only $195!!!!!
The
UNO Energy Accounting and Technology Conference qualifies
for up to 8 hours of CPE credit. In addition, the New Orleans
Chapter of the LCPA will provide a free 2 hour CPE session
that evening (September 19, 2006) from 6:30 to 8:30pm on
the UNO main campus in BA 179. So, for $195 you can earn
up to 10 hours CPE credit.
Qualifies
for CPE in Louisiana, Texas, and most other states!
